Contributing
ArchTect’s full contribution guide — code standards, PR expectations, and required verification gates — lives in CONTRIBUTING.md at the repository root. Read that first.
This section fills in the parts a contributor coming from the documentation site is most likely to need:
| Page | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Repository Layout | How frontend/, extension/, backend/, and native-scanner/ relate |
| Running the Frontend | Dev server, build variants, and the different Vite configs |
| Testing | Running the unit and integration test suites |
| Building the Extension | Producing a .vsix build |
| Regenerating Doc Screenshots | How this documentation site’s screenshots are generated |
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Read AGENTS.md for repository boundaries and ownership rules.
- Keep pull requests minimal in scope and covered by tests — see the root
