PNG and SVG Export
Export the currently active view as an image for use in documents, presentations, or web pages.
PNG export
Section titled “PNG export”PNG is a raster image format — good for presentations, emails, and embedding in documents.
How to export:
- Open the view you want to export.
- Click Export → PNG in the toolbar, or use the Command Palette:
ArchTect: Export PNG. - The PNG file is downloaded (browser) or saved to the project folder (VS Code).
SVG export
Section titled “SVG export”SVG is a vector format — scalable to any size without quality loss. Ideal for documentation sites and print.
How to export:
- Open the view you want to export.
- Click Export → SVG in the toolbar, or use the Command Palette:
ArchTect: Export SVG. - The SVG file is downloaded or saved.
- File naming: Exported files are named after the view key (e.g.,
SystemContext.png). - Multiple views: Export each view separately. There is no batch export for images — export views one at a time.
